Your first point of contact

Ciana Kohler our Talent Resources and Client Operations Manager has been with us for 6 years and counting! Since managing our already well-established Executive Support recruitment arm, she has cast a wide net of contacts across our Nation of both employers and candidates assisting them to ‘find’ each other and works hard to find the right fit for both.

Ciana is a young Mum to her 1-year-old daughter Freya, and with her partner having an indigenous background, she is keen to learn more through connection and spirit by growing friendships and developing a greater overall understanding of culture.

Ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of a busy longstanding family founded business. Ciana created this arm to further broaden the business into a space that aligns to the vision and dream of over 10 years of wanting to achieve for First Peoples.

With the help and guidance of First People leaders, we work hand in hand with our extended partners and across many teams that are all as passionate as we are about supporting our crucial industry in highly valued administration support.

It’s simply our way of supporting a real and valid action plan!

Yamani Meaning and Background

Yamani written in Wulguru language means ‘Rainbow’. Originating from the people of Manbarra (Palm Island Group of Isles). Manbarra are the Traditional Owners of Palm Island located in North Queensland.

The Rainbow Serpent dreaming in Aboriginal society, represents one of the great and powerful forces of nature and spirit. Connected to water, the Rainbow Serpent is the great Life Giver and protector of water which is his spiritual home.

Our work with First Peoples is continuing to grow, with our office located in Townsville, QLD servicing the Queensland region. Our own leadership is deeply submerged in culture working closely with many individuals and organisations. We are consistently embracing a shared understanding and the opportunities presented to form greater and mutually respectful partnerships.
