Session Outline
Day 1 ” Getting to Know you”
Session 1: The Outlook is great for all EA/PAs!
We share the key findings and statistics with you to discuss the variables in the role and where you can progress in a long-term career. Discover your own intellectual property with a purposefully designed activity.
Session 2: How well do you actually Lead in your role? We break down the silos associated with being an EA/PA and how leadership fits within the role
Supporting our senior executive from a place of security and trust by setting key milestones.
Session 3: Reflecting on resilience, the effects of being resilient and why reflection is the first step to building more of it
Your achievements are often overlooked in this ever giving role. High-pressure, high-volume environments require reflection to gain stability and a resilient foundation
Session 4: We scope out the ‘Expectations’ from both the Executive and EA/PA perspective!
What you think is above and beyond can be a misinterpretation to others. Understand the many reasons communication is crucial to getting this right and why the fit is so important in our roles. Truly understand the importance of setting personal boundaries.
Day 2 “Holistic Day of Learning”
Session 1: Influencing and negotiating is an art at the best of times – learn 3 key tips that works like a charm, not just for your boss, but for you!
Ever been told you could sell ice to eskimos? We all have the internal salesperson in us, so let’s find it together.
Session 2: The FEAR factor that can hold us back (invited guest speaker/s)
It’s the very thing that can derail us quickly. Through self-coaching techniques we work through our own fears and break them down one by one.
ACTIVITY: ONE-ON-ONE GUIDED SELF COACHING WITH FEEDBACK
Partner up and discuss topics that are analysed and responded with honest feedback from our peers.
Session 3: Defined communication techniques that resonate with YOU
There are trillions of signals, codes and messages thrown around when communicating. Using the Neuro-linguistic (NLP) Meta Program we workshop our own messaging.
Session 4: Understanding the true nature of managing diversity and what you can do to keep it real in your role
History tells us the evolution of the EA/PA role has changed astronomically. We look at the drivers and implications that everyone should be aware of.
Session 5: We create a plan to hit your career goals. Balance your workload and plan for a successful future to make better use of your time
It’s difficult to define a work/life balance, but we can create an insightful future by learning how we stack up right now.
PLEASE NOTE: Successful completion of this intensive two day development program requires your input and collaboration with fellow attendees. Maximum participants will be capped at 15 for this purpose and falls within the covid-19 safety standards and regulations.
